It’s very important that you only buy eclipse glasses from a trusted source. Yes, you can remove them during the full totality phase, but only when the sun is 100% blocked. Before taking off your glasses, make sure there’s not even a very slight amount of sun showing. Even if the sun is 99% blocked, there’s still enough UV and IR radiation to severely damage your eyes.
